Flourishing Trade in the Horticulture Sector Between Ireland and the Netherlands is an event being hosted by the Dutch embassy looking at opportunities for both Irish and Dutch companies. It's their expertise in trading via the auction house clock system, who's use is now in decline, which led to 71% of FloraHolland Members Favour New Structure. Direct B2B sales are in growth and this is a pro-active approach by the embassy in Dublin to make sure that their people continue to get a big piece of the pie.

As the fresh produce sector continues to expand courtesy of FoodHarvest 2020 policies, the Future Food in Ireland 2013 event will focus that sectors strategies. The organic sector is also promoting its wares via Organic Growers of Ireland (OGI) Farm Walks and Teagasc Demonstration Organic Farm Walks.
We also carry a new monthly article courtesy of DARD to keep a check on whats happening with our northern counterparts in DARD Horticulture Management Notes - June 2013.
