Horkans to Open at Glen of the Downs (Paul Sexton GC) in 2013

Paraic Horkan Managing director at Horkans lifestyle & Garden centres has announced his plan to open Horkans new garden centre unit at the eight acre site formally known as Paul sextons at the Glen of the Downs Co Wicklow on the N 11 National Dual carriage way. Paul sexton is well know within the garden centre industry, over the past sixty years he has supplied garden plants and products to both the retail shops and also to the general public and built up a thriving business in his two garden centre locations.
At 82 Paul has decided to take life a little easier and has agreed to allow Horkans the opportunity to run quality centres at the Glen of the Downs and also In Cornelscourt in Dublin. The sexton family have operated a retail garden centre business at the Glen of the Downs Site since 1952 and Paul is currently running a closing down sale until the end of October. Horkans will start the renovation of the existing
Garden centre from this November and open their new centre in January 2013. The Horkans family currently operate five existing garden centres in Cornelscourt Dublin, Sligo, Galway, Westport and their five star flagship centre in Turlough Castlebar check out Horkans web site on www.gardencentre.ie
