Young Nurseries Promoting Leucanthemum 'Banana Cream

Looking great on the nursery at the moment is Leucanthemum 'Banana Cream' with butter yellow flowers fading to creamy white as they mature, very attractive to bees and butterflies. Introduced first in 2009 by Walters Gardens Inc. Lemon yellow flowers fading to light butter yellow and then to creamy white as they mature, with a deep yellow centre, flowering prolifically from early summer, and making a excellent cut flower.

The plant itself is strong and sturdy, needing no staking, and is very hardy. Ht 45cm. Likes a sunny position in well drained soil, very attractive to bees and butterflies.

This variety exhibits increased disease resistance.
