Marshalls Unveil New Products for 2012

marshalls2012

Marshalls recently launched a host of new additions to its domestic product range for 2012. Each year, Marshalls develops its new product range through extensive customer research and in field testing – and 2012 is no different.

Marshalls’ new products for 2012 are designed to help customers produce the most beautiful and complementing domestic landscape projects while creating an environment that enhances their ability to live, play and grow.

Marshalls’ Senior Product Manager Claire Blake commented:

“I’m delighted with the new additions to our range as I think there’s something in there for everybody. We were keen to explore new sizes, textures and colours, so I’m particularly pleased with our new Drivesett Tegula size and the textured surface of Driveline Elise, which is an entirely new product. We were also keen to extend our popular ethically sourced Fairstone range for 2012.

"We’re continuing to work very closely with a local voluntary organisation (Hadoti Hast Shlip Sansthan) on the ground in Rajasthan, India, where these materials are sourced. Marshalls has funded eight free schools and four free health centres for workers in that area, so we’re actively looking to improve the lives of the workers and their families in our quarrying regions.”

Marshalls has worked hard to extensively broaden its Fairstone range of products for 2012 and continues to comply with the Ethical Trading Initiative’s (ETI) Base Code of Practice including ensuring that all Marshalls Fairstone sandstone products are fully ethically sourced which means no exploitation has taken place in their manufacture.

The new product range for 2012 also brings with it benefits for builders merchants with the introduction of new project pack sizes. The size flexibility of materials means merchants are able to save valuable yard space whilst also being able to reduce any unnecessary on-site wastage.

Fairstone: Caramel Cream Multi

A new addition to Marshalls’ ethically sourced Fairstone range is the Caramel Cream Multi paving. Quarried from the same area in India as Marshalls’ other Fairstone products, the Caramel Cream Multi paving provides a contemporary look and its fine-grained surface texture gives it excellent slip resistance properties. The product is available in a choice of single size or project packs.

Fairstone: King Size Sawn Paving

Marshalls’ popular smooth-cut Fairstone Sawn Sandstone is now available in three larger sizes, making it ideal for a premium look and finish. The sawn sandstone paving flags are hand-selected to ensure rich, consistent colour tones appear throughout and are sawn to a consistent thickness, ensuring ease and efficiency when laying.

Fairstone: Sawn Project Packs

In response to professional installer feedback, Marshalls has introduced the Fairstone Sawn Sandstone in project pack sizes. The project packs are available in four sizes to ensure installers only use the volume of materials they need for the job; saving valuable yard space and reducing wastage.

Coach House: Single Size Packs

Marshalls’ Coach House range is made using handcrafted moulds cast from genuine Yorkstone to give a pre-aged, traditional weathered look that lasts. Traditionally, Marshalls only provided the Coach House range in four and seven sized project packs but, again, in response to professional installers, Marshalls has now introduced single sized packs for extra flexibility. For added piece of mind, the Marshalls Coach House paving is also protected with Marshalls’ Active Shield which protects against harsh weather, stains and spills.

Coach House: Step and Circle Features

To complement the Coach House range of paving, Marshalls has introduced a new bull-nosed step and circle feature. Both new features are ideal for traditional gardens with their rustic look and add the perfect finishing touch to any landscaping transformation. Both features are again manufactured with Marshalls’ Active Shield.

Drivesett Tegula: New Size/Gauge

Drivesett Tegula is Marshalls’ most popular range of domestic block paving. The new extension to the range is a larger block size enabling professional installers to cover more ground, quicker.

Driveline Elise

Also new for 2012 is the Driveline Elise, a value-for-money single, large block size that allows for much faster coverage whatever the driveway size. The product’s hammered texture offers a cost-effective way to achieve a complementing finish. Also, the single block size means there is no need to break into multiple packs, saving valuable yard space and reducing wastage.
