Navan is Top Woodie's Garden Centre

Woodie's DIY Navan was named Garden Centre of the Year for 2011/2012 at the annual Woodie's DIY Garden Centre of the Year Awards.

Ray Colman, CEO of Woodie's DIY, said: "Gardening is such an important part of our business and the Navan horticultural team impressed the judges throughout the year, achieving top marks across all judging criteria."

Paddy Gleeson, Woodie's DIY horticulturist consultant, further added: "The high standards achieved by the top 20 stores made judging very difficult. James Brady's knowledge, expertise and experience lead the way in the competition, making Woodie's DIY, Navan very worthy winners."

Woodie's DIY is an Irish-owned company and a retail division of Grafton Group plc. Over 95 per cent of their plants are sourced from Irish nurseries throughout the country.
