Plantarium 2017 Takes Shape

With a nice international group of participants, both in the main hall as in the new growers' square, Plantarium 2017 is taking its definitive shape. On 1 June, the layout will be defined during the participants meeting. Apart from the stand holders, five Houses of Inspiration will be prominently present at the trade fair.
Source of inspiration
The five Houses of Inspiration are a source of inspiration regarding green applications and have the following themes: Urban Gardening, Christmas, Green Concepts, Hydrangea, and Novelties. The development of the themes results from the cooperation of growers, suppliers, and arrangers.
Growers' square
Growers who wish to show their products to visitors in a simple manner and without having a stand can now find a space in the new growers' square. Thanks to cooperation with VARB they can present their autumn collection here, both physically and digitally. Apart from Dutch growers, six Belgian companies have already registered. VARB users who are not a grower can make use of the VARB café which is situated in a central point of the growers' square. Here they can reserve a table with nameplate and in this way enter into conversation with the visitors. Registration for the growers' square is through the website of Plantarium.
Technology, both inside and outside
The suppliers have found the way to Plantarium. Now that more growers are participating, in a firmer market, Plantarium also offers chances to suppliers. Apart from the trusted participants such as JAVO, Pöppelman and Jiffy, there are various newcomers such as Wildkamp, Hortistock, Yoska Productie and former participants VDH Foliekassen BV and Agrower will be present. Various suppliers make use of the possibility to present and demonstrate their product outside.
Holygreen green festival
The first green festival during Plantarium 2017 has been named Holygreen. Holygreen is a festival for and by Greenlovers and offers a program in which eating, drinking, chilling out and of course dancing are central. An enthusiastic group of Holy Greeners is very busy organizing the line-up, food & beverages and the to-do items. Follow the Holy Greeners via Facebook and the new site www.holygreen.nl.
Only some places still available
The 35th edition of Plantarium is almost fully booked. In the main hall, there are still places available. Registration for direct placing is possible until 29 May 2017. Participation forms can be found on www.plantarium.nl. Plantarium takes place from 23 to 26 Augustus 2017 in the Plantarium building at the International Trade Centre Boskoop-Hazerswoude.
