Exhibition at the RIBA: Award-Winning Irish Architecture – Shanghai – The London Edition
- 12 February 2013
The RIBA's Florence Gallery in London will show an exhibition on new and award-winning Irish architecture from 27 February to 20 March. The exhibition is a special edition of a showcase on Irish Architecture, which had been shown in Shanghai in late 2012 at the invitation of Tongji University and the Irish Centre Shanghai.
Award-Winning Irish Architecture – Shanghai – The London Edition will be formally opened by RIBA President, Angela Brady and RIAI President, Michelle Fagan. The exhibition marks the growing international success of Irish architects and provides a context for Ireland's built heritage - both historic and contemporary - charting the development of Irish architecture from Skellig Michael to the vibrant work being carried out by Ireland's architects at home and abroad.
