Jens Holst Becomes Part of the FleuraMetz Group

On March 1 Jens Holst and FleuraMetz reached an agreement regarding the transition of the sales activities of Jens Holst A/S. As of March 1st the C&C in the Copenhagen Wholesale Market – the largest wholesale market in Northern Europe - will further strengthen the FleuraMetz network.

As market leader in the Danish market, Jens Holst has decided to align itself with a knowledgeable partner with experience in flowers and plants Cash & Carry's. This strategic decision will strengthen their market position as customers get access to the total package of the 3 FleuraMetz concepts (Cash & Carry's, Direct, Tours).

The daily operations of Jens Holst will continue to be run by Karin and Jørgen Holst. Due to the strong brand recognition Jens Holst will for now continue to operate under its own name. The commercial activities will step by step be aligned with the FleuraMetz organization, with as a purpose to leverage the unique scale of the FleuraMetz group so as to be able to serve customers even better in the future.

With the opening of the first C&C in the Danish market, FleuraMetz has a strategic platform to further develop the Scandinavian market. With the expertise of Jens Holst, FleuraMetz has the capability to source top Danish quality for its other international markets.

Jens Holst A/S is a one-stop-shop for its 3,000 customers in the Danish and the Swedish market, making them the market leader in Denmark (www.jens-holst.dk). FleuraMetz supplies 40,000 florists by way of 60 Cash & Carry's, 120 trucks, and direct sales via the internet (www.fleurametz.com) in Europe and North America.
