RHS Bursaries

RHS

The RHS offers a number of bursaries each year to assist horticulturists in financing specific projects, including overseas travel. Priority is given to professional horticulturists and student gardeners, but applications are also considered from serious amateur gardeners, botanists and other related professions and institutions.

Bursary awards available
There are a number of different bursaries available covering all aspects of horticulture.

The Blaxall Valentine Award
This award was established to fund groups and individuals undertaking the exploration of plants.

The British Clematis Society Bursary
The British Clematis Society Bursary is designed to give financial assistance to professional and student horticulturists or botanists who have an enthusiasm for Clematis and want to carry out research on, for example, classification, physiology or diseases of the genus.
