Stand Highlight
Full-time and part-time horticulture courses available at ITB

Designed to incorporate both the theoretical and practical aspects of horticulture, courses include modules on organic production, sustainability, landscape design and turf-grass management as well as computing, business and personal development.

We offer practical hands-on opportunities to develop skills and we engage with the local community on real life practical projects, designed and built by students, to a budget. This allows students to get to know each other and their lecturers in a working environment and for skills to develop naturally as the course progresses. Work placement is an essential part of this course.

Our new state of the art horticulture facility is now operational. This new facility includes geodomes, poly-tunnels, workshops, welfare facilities as well as a range of outdoor practical work areas for fruit and vegetable production and sports turf management.

Come along to our stand at the Glas exhibition and chat to the staff involved in delivering our courses or check out our website http://www.itb.ie/StudyatITB/horticultureft.html for more details.
