Designers Choice Garden Announced at Bloom 2014 - David Corscadden

It has been an exciting evening in Bloom today with one of the top awards announced! The garden picked as the best this year by fellow designers at the show was awarded to Andrew Christopher Dunne.
Andrew's Samaritan Garden was entitled 'You Talk I'll Listen'. It is a tranquil, relaxing, social garden that has been designed to highlight the effects talking about your problems will have. It is a great mixture of industrial elements and very natural relaxed planting.
With only one day left to Bloom 2014 there is not long left to come down and enjoy the great gardens. Tomorrow comes the winner of People's Choice Garden so the excitement will carry on!!!
My Name is David Corscadden and I have just finished my degree in horticulture from UCD. I have a keen interest in wildlife friendly gardens or as I like to call them “Wild Gardens”. I have in the last year taken a u-turn in what I thought I would do after college. I have moved more in to the literature side of horticulture and plan to do a masters in journalism next year.
