Hands-On Volunteer Day at Farnaght Woodland Reserve

NativeWoodland

Hi all Native Woodland Trust members and friends, Just a quick reminder about this week’s event…. Saturday 06th July: Hands-on Volunteer Day at Farnaght Woodland Reserve. Join us for an important volunteering day at our Farnaght Reserve in Co Leitrim. This is our most extensive planted reserve with thousands of oak, birch and other native trees growing there. On this volunteering day we will be carrying out important tasks such as vegetation control and woodland path creation. Our Farnaght reserve is located in the rolling landscape of the Longford Leitrim boarder and is a quiet and peaceful place to spend a day. Why not join us for this volunteering event to check out this woodlands reserve, meet the NWT crew and get some light exercise while helping develop a native woodland for future generations.

Meeting Point: Drumlish Village, Co Longford at the car park opposite Costcutters
Meeting Time: 12:00
Event Finish: 16:30
Please bring: waterproof footwear and a snack/lunch.
For more information contact Kirsty Daly (0879619083) or
