National Women’s Enterprise Day

National Women’s Enterprise Day 2013 will take place on 16 & 17th October 2013 at Portlaoise Heritage Hotel, Portlaoise, Co Laois. National Women’s Enterprise Day 2013 – Creating Connections ….. Building Business.

Successful businesswomen will share their experiences with start-up companies and fledgling businesses, at a two day event organised by Ireland’s 35 County and City Enterprise Boards. In 2012, the County and City Enterprise Boards supported 16,525 women in business.

The aim of ‘National Women’s Enterprise Day’ is to encourage even more women to set up their own businesses and to increase national recognition of the essential role played by Ireland’s female entrepreneurs. NWED 2013 is co-financed by the European Social Fund with support from the Department of Justice and Equality, through the Equality for Women initiative. Download the NWED Conference Brochure HERE. Advice, mentoring and networking will be key elements of National Women’s Enterprise Day 2013 with a panel of experienced mentors available.
