AIPH Launches New Horticultural Expo Conference

 

Exhibition organisers are invited to attend the new, AIPH Expo Conference which takes place on Thursday 19 March 2015 at Marriott Paris - Opera Ambassador Hotel, Paris, France.

AIPH Expo Conference is a new event open to organisers of international horticultural exhibitions as well as anyone with an interest in this area. The event will include expert advice from expo consultants, inspiration for those considering organising an expo as well as opportunities to share information between expo organisers.

Delivering the Keynote speech is Sven Stimac, Friends & Friends, who will be sharing best practice for high quality and successful expos including attracting visitors and maintaining expo quality. The day will also explore how to identify and implement an expo theme.

Furthermore, the event will feature and review the momentous Qingdao – International Horticultural Exposition 2014, in China, which attracted over four million visitors to its 241 hectares of gardens, pavilions and exhibitions. Speaker Li Fengli will discuss lessons learned and give advice for future expos.

Tim Briercliffe, Secretary General, AIPH, will present a new AIPH Expo Strategy that will include the plan for supporting expos, the new AIPH Brand and use within expos, as well as new AIPH Regulations for Exhibition Organisers.

Vicente Loscertales, Secretary General, The Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) will discuss the BIE Expo Strategy with particular focus on the current programme for international expos and BIE expectations for A1 horticultural expos.

The event will also see the launch of the new AIPH Guide for Expo Organisers and progress reports for AIPH approved expos coming up over the next decade.
