FAIRYTALE FLOWERS® and Fachverband Deutscher Floristen e. V. (FDF) Design and Floral Items - Insights and Perspectives for Flowering Classics in a German/Danish Presentation

The Danish company Gartneriet PKM A/S which was founded in 1948 has a greenhouse area of over 200,000 square metres, supplemented by an outdoor area of 60,000 square metres. The main products (campanulas, schlumbergeras, rhipsalidopsises and helleboruses) are marketed under the proprietary name of FAIRYTALE FLOWERS®. Within the framework of IPM ESSEN 2015, Fachverband Deutscher Floristen e. V. (FDF) and FAIRYTALE FLOWERS® will dare to carry out an exciting experiment. For the first time, they will show how the plant classic can be presented in an effective, innovative and new form from the viewpoint of German and Danish floral and product designers. The trade public will be invited to change the direction of the perception and presentation of plants in a way which can be transferred to other products on the green market. On the Danish side, the protagonists in this innovative stage show will be the flower designer Nikolai Valentin and the designer Mie Lerche. The German perspective and new presentation of the FAIRYTALE FLOWERS® will be shown by FDF's Creative Director Manfred Hoffmann and the young designer Tom Baffi.
