Post: Project Manager ? Regeneration in Villages & Emergency Rescue (RIVER)

Salary: Scale: S01 SCP 29-31 £24,646 - £26,276 per annum

Nature of Post: Fixed Term Contract to 30 September 2014, possible extension subject to funding.

The partner?s behind the project require a Project Manager, to assist them with the implementation of the cross border ?Regeneration in Villages & Emergency Rescue? (RIVER) initiative, funded through the INTERREG IVA programme and administered by the North East Partnership. Valued at some £1,320,300 this bilateral enterprise project is one of several approved under the North East Partnership (NEP) governance umbrella. The project delivery partners include Ballymena Borough Council, Ballymoney Borough Council, Cavan County Council, Coleraine Borough Council and Community Rescue Services.

PERSON SPECIFICATION - Criteria Essential

? Hold a third level qualification in a business related discipline.
? Two years project management experience gained within the public, community or private sector should include the following areas:

(a) Cross border projects ? EU funding
(b) Project monitoring and evaluation skills
(c) Working with a range of stakeholders
(d) Marketing and Communications activities

? A full current driving licence and access to a form of transport that meets the needs of the post in full or have *access to a form of transport which will permit the applicant to carry out the duties of the post in full. (*this relates only to any person who has declared that they have a disability, which debars them from driving).
