Abstract: Supply and Installation of Playground Equipment at Lisheenkyle, Oranmore, Co Galway
SCOPE OF WORK The client is Lisheenkyle Community Sports & Recreational Development Company Ltd (LCSRDC Ltd) and the contract will be for the construction of a playground on an open space. Only one submission will be accepted per company.
All Tenderer’s must complete a tender breakdown and a form of tender as outlined below. The design for the playground should cater for children up to the age of 12. The Playground must be surrounded by a suitable fence (see minimum requirements described further on). Please submit details of the fencing proposed. The contract is for preparation of the site, the supply and installation of all play equipment, laying of safety surfacing including all internal and perimeter kerbing and footpaths. All ground works including internal and perimeter kerbing and footpaths will be the responsibility of the successful contractor. Note: The soil was removed from the playground area in 2011 and replaced with 6” stone, topped with 804 and a covering of fine dust. It is the responsibility of the Tenderer to ensure that this a satisfactory sub base for final finish of synthetic surfacing and tarmac. The site area is marked on accompanying plan. The contractor is advised to submit proposals considering the available budget. The proposal should utilize the full site.
It is imperative that the facility will be open to the general public by LCSRDC Ltd The maintenance period for the contract will be for a period of 12 months from the date of issue of the third party post installation inspection
