OGI Launch New Website and Announce Farm Walks

The Organic Growers of Ireland launched their new website in early May which will hopefully be a great resource for Ireland’s organic growers. The web address is organicgrowersireland.org so log on and feedback is welcome. With its launch were released details of the OGI farm walks which begin on the farm of Kenneth Keavey, Green Earth Organics, Corrandulla, Co Galway on Monday the 12th of June at 7pm. This is the first of a series of five evening walks.

Over the last three years the walks have proved to be very successful and have become a very useful tool for growers to see new methods in action and also to meet other growers. They are open to everyone even though we do ask that non-members make a donation on the night towards future events. These events are subsidised by NOTS the National Organic Training Skillnet.
