HTA Encourage Growers to Complete Ash Survey

The HTA have invited all growers to complete a survey in order to capture more accurately the potential costs to growers of the Chalara fraxinea outbreak. The survey can be accessed at: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/chalara

Growers (both HTA members and non-members) are encouraged to complete the survey as soon as possible and spread the word to other growers to do the same. The results of the survey will help to inform the case for compensation from Government.

Following yesterday's meeting with Lord de Mauley the HTA will today be attending the Ash Dieback summit being hosted by Defra Secretary of State, Owen Paterson where there will be the opportunity to raise the issue of compensation again.
