Another warning in Resistance to Online Retail Will Close 1 in 5 Stores that it needs to be an integral part of the your business plan. Before you rush out and spend lots of money be sure to do your homework. Online is not just about sales, more importantly it's about getting your business found.
Deep Cuts at Teagasc will Hurt, Warns Gerry Boyle in recent article in the Irish Independent. Someone should also tell the Minister for Agriculture Simon Coveney, who was proudly boasting at the Ireland/Britain Food Summit about how well horti/agri education system was doing. ITB Grows with New Horticulture Facilities with the sod already having been turned this week. Its one more reason why students who want a campus experience will choose the ITB facility, that up until now has been sorely lacking the practical facilities that the other Teagasc colleges have had on offer. It also shows that the college management now have a long-term commitment to horticulture education which can only be good for competition and the sector in general.
